NAME
       tsount - count the number of like records in a file

SYNOPSIS
       tscount [-r] [-v] [filename]

DESCRIPTION
       Tscount	is  for  counting  the	number of sequential like records in a
       file, and print the counts to stdout; the records in the file  must  be
       in lexical order, as per sort(1).

       The  output on stdout is the count of the number of sequential records,
       followed by a tab, followed by the record.

OPTIONS
       -r     Reverse the output fields.

       -v     Print the version and copyright banner of the program.

       filename
	      Input filename.

WARNINGS
       There is little or no provision for handling numerical exceptions.

       Error messages for incompatible arguments, failure to allocate  memory,
       inaccessible files, and opening and closing files.
