TSCOUNT(1) TSCOUNT(1) NAME tsount - count the number of like records in a file SYNOPSIS tscount [-r] [-v] [filename] DESCRIPTION Tscount is for counting the number of sequential like records in a file, and print the counts to stdout; the records in the file must be in lexical order, as per sort(1). The output on stdout is the count of the number of sequential records, followed by a tab, followed by the record. OPTIONS -r Reverse the output fields. -v Print the version and copyright banner of the program. filename Input filename. WARNINGS There is little or no provision for handling numerical exceptions.
