The web pages on this site are served by the Apache Web Server. The web
pages were composed by using emacs,
which was written by Richard M. Stallman, with the
html-helper-mode.el macros written by Nelson Minar. The web
pages were validated for HTML syntax compliance
using Niel
Bowers' weblint
program. The links were verified using Rick Jansen's webxref
program. SGML
ISO8879/HTML 4.0 compliance was verified using the World Wide Web Consortium's on
line validation
service, and Dave
Raggett's HTML TIDY as
a verification tool. The tsinvest program suite mailing list
is hosted by John
Conover, using procmail
and smartlist
to distribute the mailing list. Both procmail and smartlist
were written by Stephen R. van den Berg. The mailing list
archive's search engines use the rel program
suite, written by John
Conover. The site is remotely administered with rsync incremental
file transfer over the ssh
secure shell. The site pages are maintained with RCS, the
Revision Control System available from GNU. All software is freely
available and distributed as source code, at no charge. The
site is hosted by Rahul.net, and runs on Red Hat Linux.
